Annual Parish Meeting

WHERE: ST. JOSEPH CHURCH GUILD HALL
WHEN: SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 2008 - 5 PM
DETAILS: Immediately following the SATURDAY 4 PM MASS on JUNE 7, 2008, a Light Supper and Dessert followed by our Annual Parish Meeting will be held in the Guild Hall. In addition to an overview by Father Joe on the State of the Parish we will feature an open mike session that will give you an opportunity to express your thoughts, ideas, and concerns regarding our Parish. Most importantly we encourage those of you who might be willing to serve on the Parish Council to attend and submit your name for consideration. Council membership is open to all parishioners with a desire to keep St. Joseph the dynamic and spiritual resource that it currently provides for our community. Please come and share your ideas with us on how you feel our Parish can be improved. We welcome both your comments from the floor, those submitted via the Suggestion Box located in the Church vestibule, or written entries that may be deposited in the collection basket at weekend Masses.
PERKS: In addition to the FREE Light Supper and Dessert, there will be a raffle drawing with the winner receiving a DINNER FOR TWO at a local restaurant.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL NEWS

This year, we hope to expand our communication with the parish at large. Consider the Pastoral Council your “go to” place when you have questions or concerns. To make this easier, we’ve added an e-mail link on our website, http://www.stjosephbristol.org. Please visit us there! You may also reach us by calling the Parish Center office at 583-1369. And, look for our new bulletin board in the church vestibule--it will include member photos, meeting dates and minutes, along with other pertinent information. Pastoral Council members will also try to be available on Hospitality Sundays after Mass. Come introduce yourself! Remember, you are always welcome at our meetings to present issues, ask questions, or just observe. Please try to give us advance notice when you plan to attend. Meetings are Mondays, 7:15-8:45pm downstairs in the Parish Center.

We look forward to a productive year on behalf of all!
