About the Pastor
Fr. DiSciacca grew up in Enfield, CT. His parents are deceased, but he does have a sister and her family who live in Windsor, CT and a brother and his family who reside in Simsbury, CT. He attended Enfield’s elementary school and high school and went on to St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield, CT. After St. Thomas he attended St. Bonaventure University and Christ the King Seminary. Archbishop Whealon ordained Father DiSciacca in 1973 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford. A great bicycle enthusiast, Father participated in a 500 mile bike ride in New York State in July, 2004. With regards to his new assignment, Father is very pleased that Archbishop Mansell would name him pastor of St. Joseph Church to follow a great line of people.

Father received a Degree in Spirituality from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. Assigned to St. Thomas Seminary he served as Spiritual Director and teacher for 10 years (1984-1994). Pastoral assignments include Sacred Heart Church, Bloomfield, CT and St. Laurent/Our Lady of Mt.Carmel, Meriden, CT .
